Selena Gomez isn't taking any chances with her future as a mother.
The 24-year-old singer, who suffers from Lupus, has taken the proactive step of freezing her eggs.
She has spoken openly in the past about her health crisis, bravely revealing that she had undergone chemotherapy to help battle the disease.
“Selena was advised to freeze her eggs before she started chemotherapy last year," a source told OKmagazine.com exclusively.
"It was for treatment against Lupus," the insider continued.
But don't get your hopes up for a baby this very moment. Her decision was all about planning for her future!
"It’s very common for young women having chemo to do this — Selena hopes to be a mom some day.”
