If you were green with envy after seeing photos of Kendall Jenner, Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Shay Mitchell and their beautiful friends partying in Dubai to ring in the new year, get ready to be even more jealous—they didn’t pay a cent for their entire fabulous trip, a source revealed to OK! Magazine.
Yup. The entire trip was free of charge and they even got paid to post on social media and attend certain parties.
From their private jet that flew them to the United Arab Emirates to the meals, parties and activities (like skydiving!), every aspect of their NYE vacay was taken care of, the insider revealed.
“None of the girls will admit it, but they were paid to party,” the source told OK!. “Everything is comped during these kinds of visits. Their days are planned according to their desires, and they are escorted by the same hosts that chaperone royalty.”

“They even get paid to post the photos on their social media pages,” the source added. No wonder there were so many cute photos!
According to the source, the ladies were there primarily for a New Year’s Eve party thrown by Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing and UAE businessman Mohammed Sultan Al Habtoor. Harith Bukhash, of talent management agency Bukhash Brothers, also made to hang with the ladies—and ensure they had a great time.
“American celebrities are hot commodities overseas,” the source said. “They befriend these girls and entice them to hang out by offering them luxurious experiences.”
