Serena Williams may be sitting out the Australian open this year, but that doesn’t mean she’s feeling down! Instead, she’s staying focused on her adorable baby girl Alexis. Click through to see the latest sweet pic of Serena’s daughter!
Serena posted this precious pic of Alexis. “Heyyyy Mrs. Parker,” she captioned the pic of a smiling Alexis staring straight at the camera.
The pic comes just days after Serena announced she wouldn’t be participating in the Australian Open this year, even though she won the event last year while pregnant with Alexis!
“After performing in my first match after giving birth I realized that although I am super close I’m not where I personally want to be,” she announced in a statement on Snapchat.

“My coach and team always said ‘Only go to tournaments when you are prepared to go all the way.’ With that being said I am disappointed to say I’ve decided not to compete in The Australian Open this year,” she continued.
“However, the memory of last year’s Open is one that I will carry with me and Olympia and I look forward to coming back again. I appreciate the support and understanding of my fans and everyone at the Australian Open,” Serena finished.
