Fives years after Shailene Woodley first wowed audiences in The Secret Life of an American Teenager, the actress has completed shredded her teenage image and proved that by stepping out in a sophisticated dress on Wednesday for the premiere of her latest film Adrift.
While audiences have been waiting impatiently for the return of Big Little Lies, Shailene was hard at work on a completely different project that came to the big screen this summer.
Adrift follows the true story of Tami Oldham (Shailene) and Richard Sharp (Sam Claflin), a young couple who must fight for their lives as they contend with a catastrophic hurricane in the middle of the sea.
The 26-year-old decided to go glam at the premiere of the movie at the Deauville Film Festival in France.
