Shakira has reportedly ended things with her soccer star boyfriend Gerard Pique after six years together! Spanish website Cotilleo reported about the split, which has been rumored for a couple of days now. Not only that, the couple has not been seen out together in over three months! What was the major cause for this to end?
Reportedly, she was the one to pull the plug on the relationship, taking it one step further by moving out of the home they shared together in Barcelona.
It remains unclear where she moved, or if she took their two kids, Milan, 4, and Sasha, 2, with her in the process.
Could the reason for the split have to do with their busy schedules? It’s shaping up to be a hectic time for both, as she will be embarking on a tour that will last until February, and he will be playing soccer for Spain and competing in the 2018 World Cup.

This news is quite shocking, given that she just released a song about him back in April called “Me Enamore” which went to number one on the Billboard Latin Pop Songs charts.
In it, she recounts how she met the father of her children, and recalls how she felt while falling in love with him. “With you I would have ten children,” she sings.
Neither Shakira or Gerard have commented on the split, so it remains to be seen what is really going on between the two of them.
