Shannon Beador's estranged husband, David, filed a request to prevent her from drinking alcohol when she's with their three children. The Real Housewives of Orange County star split from her husband after 17 years of marriage last October. In court documents acquired by RadarOnline.com, David filed a request in their divorce specifically about her alcohol consumption.

The court documents disclosed that Shannon "publicly stated on television within the last month, she ‘self-medicates’ with alcohol. That behavior is detrimental to the children.”

David continued in the docs, "I requested Mrs. Beador agree to not drinking or being drunk in front of the children and the request was denied and in fact disputed that she even stated she ‘self-medicates’ even though the television clip of her stating it is currently on the Bravo (NBCU) website and was included and quoted on several media articles.”

The order would prohibit the 54-year-old from drinking within eight hours before or during periods of time with her daughters.

The couple has three daughters, Stella, Adeline, and Sophia.

Shannon was rushed to the hospital earlier this week due to some "horrible" pain in her ribs.
