Shannon Doherty is facing a health crisis. She released today that she is currently battling breast cancer. The 44-year-old is also in a legal battle with her former business manager after reports claim the manager let Shannon’s health insurance lapse.
The Beverly Hills, 90210 star revealed she may need a mastectomy and have to undergo chemotherapy. The cancer is reportedly, “invasive breast cancer metastatic to at least one lymph node.”
She was allegedly officially diagnosed in March 2015 when she went to a doctor as her health insurance kicked in by then but doctors feel it spread in 2014 when Shannon was uninsured and therefore not covered to receive medical care.

Shannon’s former manager is an employee at Tanner, Mainstain, Glynn, & Johnson. The Charmed actress stopped working with them in 2014.
The former Dancing With The Stars contestant is arguing that the firm ignored invoices requesting payments for her health insurance and let the plan lapse, which is why she is suing.
