Justice has been served as three South Florida men have been arrested after being identified from a horrific shark-dragging viral video that went out over the summer.  The incident was also the cause for MTV to cancel a premiere party for its show Siesta Key, as one of its stars, Alex Kompothecras, was friends with at least one of the men from the clip.

Alex confirmed on a deleted Facebook post that he was in fact friends with one of them, but doesn’t condone their behavior.   "I had absolutely nothing to do with the shark video," he wrote. "Yes he's a friend of mine, but no I don't agree with what he did. Check your facts before you go posting on my page. Thanks.”

Two of the men have had past run-ins with the law prior to the shark-dragging incident.  The Miami Herald reported that Michael was previously charged with possession of a phony ID as well as underage drinking, and Spencer was cited in the past for boating infractions.

What are your thoughts about these men finally being taken in for their behavior?  Sound off in the comments.
