Shark Tank investor Kevin O'Leary and his wife Laura were involved in a boat accident that killed two people and injured three others. The incident occurred on Lake Joseph in Ontario, Canada on Saturday, August 24.
According to reports, the accident happened around 11:30 PM when Kevin's speedboat rammed into a larger boat.
The vessel was sent directly over the other boat's bow, striking a male passenger in the head and killing him instantly.
The man, Gary Poltash, was a 64-year-old man from Florida. Susanne Brito, a 48-year-old Canadian citizen, suffered from significant brain damage before passing away on Tuesday, August 27.
Three other individuals were also injured, treated at the hospital and released. Two were on the same boat as the fatalities and the other individual was on Kevin's boat.

Kevin's wife, Laura, was driving their boat during the time of the accident. She was given a DUI test and passed.
While there were some conflicting reports, the ABC star's rep confirmed that it was the other boat who fled the scene — not his.
"Late Saturday night I was a passenger in a boat that had a tragic collision with another craft that had no navigation lights on and then fled the scene of the accident. I am fully cooperating with authorities," Kevin, 65, told reporters.
"Out of respect for the families who have lost loved ones and to fully support the ongoing investigation, I feel it is inappropriate to make further comments at this time. My thoughts are with all the families affected," he added.
