Shareef O’Neal got a tattoo of his mom, Shaunie, on his arm, but some fans aren’t sure that his tribute looks like the Basketball Wives executive producer, 44.
The proud mother shared a video of the new ink on Instagram. “I’m literally speechless,” she captioned the post with a string of heart emojis.
Fans got honest about what they thought of the tattoo, and questioned who the tattoo was supposed to be.
“Looks like actress Nia Long but ok” one fan wrote, and others commented that the tattoo looked like Rihanna, Ashanti, and Erica Campbell. “He got a tattoo of LaToya Luckett,” another person joked.

“Maybe if we squint a lil bit…” a follower suggested. “Looks nothing like her,” another unapologetically commented.
“It's the thought that counts tho, I guess,” someone offered.
The VH1 star and her son, 19, have a very close bond. When Shareef underwent heart surgery in December 2018, she shared a heartfelt post and wrote that she wished she could be with him for the whole operation. The tattoo is one way the college basketball player can wear his heart on his sleeve for Shaunie.
