Gold medalist Shawn Johnson and her husband Andrew East are pregnant with their first child! The couple announced the exciting news on Thursday, April 4 via Instagram. Scroll through for all the details!
"We cannot wait to welcome you to the world and shower you with love," Shawn, 27, wrote in the announcement — tagging her unborn child's Instagram handle. "@AndrewEast we did it! #pregnant #marriage #family."
Andrew, also 27, took to social media not long after his wife to share the news! "Coming 2019: @theeastbaby @shawnjohnson," the NFL player wrote on Instagram alongside a sweet video of the couple holding small white converse.
Andrew also told his followers to check out the link in his bio which contained a heartfelt YouTube video about their pregnancy journey.

The beginning of the footage revealed that Shawn had a miscarriage about a year and half ago. The video then showed how the Olympian shared news of her rainbow pregnancy with Andrew!
The couple's pregnancy announcement comes almost three years to the date of their wedding, which took place on April 16, 2016.
