Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello certainly looked like a couple as they packed on the PDA while house-hunting and grabbing brunch in West Hollywood on Sunday, July 7. However, just two days earlier the "Treat You Better" singer denied they were dating during a fan Q&A.
Shawn, 20, and Camila, 22, held hands and hugged on the outing. Things definitely seemed romantic despite the Canada native's recent denial that they're a couple.
A fan asked the musician if he was dating Camila during a Q&A after his concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Friday, July 5, and he shook his head to indicate he wasn't.
Their affectionate display comes just one week after the "Havana" songstress confirmed her split from boyfriend Matthew Hussey.

People started to speculate that Shawn and Camila's longtime friendship had turned romantic after they released their steamy music video for their duet "Señorita" on June 21.
The former Fifth Harmony member kept the speculation going by gushing over Shawn on social media after attending two of his L.A. performances. "@shawnmendes you couldn’t be more amazing. Wow," she captioned one clip. "You’re unreal @shawnmendes," she wrote on another.
They were first photographed holding hands on Wednesday, July 3. They also celebrated Fourth of July together and were caught cuddling in a pool in a video posted to a fan account.
