Shay Mitchell Claps Back At Fans Who Accuse Her Of Faking Vacation Pics

Shay Mitchell is clapping back at fans who accused the Pretty Little Liars star of faking her Instagram pics! This time, she made sure to include herself in the pics to prove their authenticity.
Shay posted a pic of herself looking out across the skyline in the Bund area of Shanghai. “View so nice it almost looks… fake,” Shay captioned the pic.
She also posted a pic of herself standing in front of the Montane Mansion in Hong Kong.
The actress’ posts comes days after the site Stylecaster called out Shay for appearing to steal a pic from a travel blog. The Freeform star shared a pic of Hong Kong’s Monster Building, and a follower noticed a mouse curser was oddly in the bottom left corner of the pic. A simple reverse image search located the pic on a blog run by Canon.

The site also discovered that Shay posted a pic of pastel-colored buildings and captioned it #ShaycationHongKong, but the pic is of buildings in Tokyo, Japan, and appears to be a 2014 photograph by photographer Jan Vranovsky. A fan noticed the mistake and commented, “Your Hong Kong looks a lot like Japan.”
In addition, Shay shared a pic of the Jing’an Temple in Shanghai, which featured the same tourists in the same spot as a pic posted by another Instagrammer in 2016. Despite the similarities, Shay hasn’t confirmed or denied fans’ suspicions, but she has started adding photo credit to her posts.
