Sonja Morgan announced on the Real Housewives Of New York City Reunion Part Three last week that she was officially moving out of her famed townhouse. The reality star decided to move into a newer apartment in the area of Columbus Circle in Manhattan. Keep reading to hear all the deets on her new pad.
In the episode, cast mate Dorinda Medley exclaimed, "You moving out of the townhouse would be like me moving out of the Berkshires!” Sonja replied, “The moment no one thought would come — including myself — is finally here. I’m leaving the townhouse.”
The 54-year-old got her asking price of $32,000 a month for rent about six weeks ago. Ever since then, she's been living it up hotels around the city. That is until she found the perfect little apartment.
“I found a great apartment, it’s so my style, I have a fireplace and a little balcony,” Sonja told Reunion host Andy Cohen. “It’s not too high rise, ’cause I don’t like high rises, I’m only on the 12th floor.”

The fashion designer though knew she was going to be emotional when the big day arrived. "My kid was born here! She grew up here. On one hand I feel like I’m leaving a lot of memories behind in this house, but it’s not forever, it’s just a two-year commitment. And the townhouse isn’t going anywhere.”
So at least she'll have her old place if staying in the new abode doesn't go well. On the upside, she revealed, "It’s very much me, and it has a rooftop and my dog will love it, my daughter will love it and my gays will love it on Wednesdays."
