Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are going to be parents! The couple, who got married in May 2019, are expecting their first child, Us Weekly has confirmed.
Joe, 30, and Sophie, 23, got married after the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas. Diplo announced the news and livestreamed the event on Instagram Live. Dan + Shay performed their hit song "Speechless” as the Game Of Thrones star walked down the aisle. An Elvis Presley impersonator officiated the ceremony, and the lovebirds exchanged Ring Pops.
A month after the Ceremony, the musician spoke about the top-secret wedding during an appearance on SiriusXM. “Well in my mind, that was the legal portion of the marriage,” he said. “So I was thinking, like, ‘Look, this is not the most important day. There’s an important day, I mean, I’ll keep private, but ahead of us. So we were, like — this is, like, just whoever’s in town.”
However, the top-secret wedding didn’t go over as well as Sophie and Joe hoped. “My parents have an amazing restaurant in North Carolina and I think, like, a couple of their staff walked up and were, like, ‘Congratulations! I saw.’ And then they had to find out,” Joe lamented. “So I was doing a lot of, like, apologizing and ‘Hey, you guys want to come out to L.A.? I got you four spas at the Four Seasons.’”

A month after the Las Vegas nuptials, Sophie and Joe had a more lavish and formal ceremony at Château de Tourreau in Sarrians, a commune in Provence, France.
In attendance was their family, close friends, Game of Thrones star and Sophie’s best friend Maisie Williams, along with Diplo.
The couple started dating in 2016 when Joe slid into Sophie’s Instagram direct messages. They announced their engagement in October 2017.
"They are madly in love,” a source to Us Weekly gushed at the time. “She’s young but mature and comes from a small English town, so it’s not that out of the ordinary and age doesn’t create an issue. They are really good together and his friends and family love her and vice versa, but they aren’t rushing to get married.”
