Tom Holland is determined to get a date with his Spider-Man: Homecoming co-star Marisa Tomei! As OK! previously reported, Tom has a big crush on the Oscar-winning actress, even though she’s 31 years his senior. “Tom’s been reaching out and asking for dates, but Marisa reminds him she’s old enough to be his mom,” an insider told OK! Even though Marisa has “been careful not to lead Tom on,” the source claims the 21-year-old actor isn’t taking no for an answer! According to the source, Tom, who’s been linked to his other co-star Zendaya as well, “loves the chase.” But Marisa is adamant that she won’t date a younger man!
“Marisa’s last boyfriend Logan Marshall-Green was 12 years younger than her and even that sort of age gap was a struggle for her,” the source told OK! “The thought of being with someone three decades younger is laughable to her.”
Even though Marisa “certainly doesn’t feel her age,” the insider explained, “there’s just no way she’d even consider getting involved with Tom” even if they did “have a great connection” on set!
According to the source, Tom has asked Marisa to dinner “more than one” and “always makes a point to mention how good she looks.”

While the insider admits the attention from someone as young as Tom is “flattering,” "Marissa is starting to worry that people will assume something has happened between them.”
Added the source, “She’s always been judgmental of men that date super young actresses and she’s stressing that people might start judging her, even though nothing has happened.”
Still, Tom “doesn’t seem to be giving up at all,” the insider claimed. “Tom wants a date with her and he’s told Marissa he’ll keep asking until she says yes. He’s very charming about it all of course, but he’s certainly a persistent guy.”
