OK! Exclusive: Suri Cruise Begs To Be A Star! Inside Katie Holmes’ ‘Worst Nightmare’

Suri Cruise has basically been a star since she was born but the 10-year-old is ready to see her name in lights because she wants to join show business!

A source told OKMagazine.com exclusively that Suri is begging Katie Holmes to make her a movie star (which comes as no surprise since she’s known to be quite the diva already!) but much to her mother’s horror.

“This is Katie’s worst nightmare, but she knew it was coming,” the insider said. “She’s a very head-strong little girl and Katie’s running out of excuses to delay her dreams of stardom.”

Cruise has been active in singing and dancing in school recently and the source said she’s “excelled” in her tutoring. Plus, she’s “always loved the glitz and glamor of showbiz.”

And while Katie isn’t trying to talk her daughter out of Hollywood, the 37-year-old is disappointed her daughter wants to follow in her famous footsteps.

“Katie would never get in the way of Suri’s ambitions,” the source said, “but she’s actually a very intelligent little girl who could do anything she wanted – doctor, lawyer, anything – so it’s somewhat heartbreaking for Katie to hear Suri dream of a career on the big screen.”

But Suri is resourceful! The insider said if mom won’t let her do it, she will petition for her dad Tom Cruise’s approval! “She’s even considered getting Tom to intervene, but that would be a last resort,” the source added.
