Law & Order: SVU star Mariska Hargitay proved she's one brave lady by going tubing in the middle of the ocean in Antibes, France. The actress has been on an extended European vacation with husband Peter Hermann and pals.

Mariska, 55, shared a photo of herself floating on the inner tube to Instagram. The TV star donned a white kaftan with red detailing and a straw hat as she waved to the camera.

The mother of three has been on a break from filming season 21 of SVU, which will air in September 2019.

Mariska recently revealed that she considered quitting the crime drama when costar Christopher Meloni left after season 12.

"I did a lot of soul-searching of whether I wanted to go on. I was on my way to being at peace to be done," she told People.

However, she was given new opportunities to direct and produce episodes, which reignited her passion for show.

"I feel so newly challenged and inspired and excited, which just surprises me. I can’t believe how much I care now," she added.
