Reports quickly surfaced that Braxton had been axed from The Real. And by May 22, the show released a statement confirming her departure. Once it was revealed that Braxton had indeed was leaving The Real, the show’s fans quickly began making their way to the Instagram pages of Braxton’s fellow The Real hosts — Tamera Mowry, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Adrienne Bailon!

It was quickly discovered that Braxton had unfollowed the social media accounts of Love and Mai, leading many of Braxton’s fans to fill both Love and Mai’s comments sections on Instagram with tons of heated comments and questions about Braxton leaving The Real.

Love eventually made her Instagram account private. And none of The Real girls made any comments on the situation as the weekend came to a close.

Reports over the weekend claimed that Braxton had been having issues with The Real’s production team during her time on the show. And by Monday, the internet was buzzing over the situation, with Braxton remaining a trending topic on Twitter and Facebook!

Talk show host Wendy Williams quickly added her thoughts on the situation when she took to her TV show’s Hot Topics segment on Monday. According to Williams, she felt that Love — who filmed an interview for her show just a week earlier — had known at the time of her The Wendy Williams Show visit that Braxton’s status on The Real was in trouble.

She also revealed reports claiming that all the hosts on the show, except for Mowry, had made complaints about Braxton ahead of her departure. And Williams said that sources also raised budget issues as a concern when it came to keeping Braxton on The Real, seeing that her husband served as a producer on the show along with her being a co-host!

Williams also hinted that Love may have played a role in the story of Braxton’s exit being leaked, saying that sources said that Love is reportedly good friends with blogger B. Scott — who broke one of the first reports on Braxton’s exit from The Real!

But following her post, Davis hinted that Love still hadn’t called Braxton about the firing scandal.
