Trina Braxton and Towanda Braxton are stirring some new drama among the Braxton family’s fans now that the sisters have revealed their plans to produce their own reality TV show!
After five seasons on Braxton Family Values with their sisters — Tamar Braxton, Toni Braxton and Traci Braxton — and their mom, Evelyn Braxton, Trina and Towanda are adding to their business ventures with the TV show.
They took to their Instagram pages on Monday to share some details about the new project, saying that the show will be about the LGBT community. They specifically mentioned their plans to cast LGBT couples for the still untitled series. And their first casting call for the show is set to kick off on Sept. 5 in Atlanta, Georgia!
They did not reveal if the show would be a WEtv spinoff of Braxton Family Values or a totally separate series on WEtv or another network.

However, the casting call post seemed to hint that the show likely will be separate from their family’s hit show.
Tamar is the only Braxton that currently has a Braxton Family Values spinoff show on WEtv, Tamar & Vince. And some are wondering if the new TV project could spark some issues among the sisters.
But despite the questions surrounding the show, fans are expressing their excitement over Trina and Towanda’s plans for their new series! What do you think about Trina and Towanda producing their own reality TV show? Tweet us @OKMagazine or let us know in the comments section.
