The actress revealed that her husband Adam Housley encouraged her to take the gig.
She also admitted that Adam eventually quit his own news job to take over his family winery, Century Oak Winery, in California. But the Sister, Sister star wasn't too happy about it at first.

The confession came during a discussion about the importance of having encouragement from a partner.
Jeannie insisted during Girl Chat that when dating someone, one has to ask themselves if their significant other gives them "weight or wings."
