Tammy Rivera and Waka Flocka Flame’s five-year anniversary of being married is on January 21. To celebrate, the couple had an extravagant ceremony on January 19 to renew their vows and have the traditional wedding they never had!
On January 14, Tammy posted an Instagram video of her new custom 5-carat diamond ring and 3-carat wedding bands. She captioned the post, “Jan 21st we will be married for 5 years!”
She continued, “We always said if we survive 5 years we will do the whole traditional ceremony, the rings, the wedding, the dress, THE WHOLE SHEBANG!! So, I’m happy to announce we will be having a destination wedding the right way with our mothers by our side on Jan 19!"
Tammy, 32, wore a long-sleeved, lacey, white 2018 Zahir Murahd dress for the beach ceremony in Mexico (see here!). Waka Flocka also sported a white ensemble with red shoes to match the bridesmaids in all-red.
On the day of the wedding, Tammy told PEOPLE, “I am marrying my best friend and soulmate all over again. When God made Waka, he wrote my name beside his.”
Waka Flocka, 32, also opened up and said, “Eight years ago I remember chasing Tammy down, grabbing her by the arm. I had to keep her purse so she wouldn’t leave me, and I knew then that she would forever be mine.”
