Christina Anstead welcomed her first child with husband Ant on Friday, September 6. Her ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, was suspiciously silent on social media after news broke about her giving birth. He chose to promote his latest podcast episode instead.
Christina, 36, and Ant, 40, welcomed a baby boy named Hudson London Anstead via C-section. The new mommy explained why she chose to undergo this procedure in a lengthy Instagram post shared on Friday, August 30.
"Ant and I are so excited to welcome Hudson London Anstead into the world," Christina captioned her joyous Instagram post. "Our hearts are SO full of love and joy!"
"Welcome to the world Hudson London Anstead," Ant captioned his own set of snaps. "I am in awe! Mummy and baby are simply perfect!"
Fellow reality television stars Gretchen Rossi and Patti Stanger left the new parents some love in the comments section. "Congrats. So happy for you both! I’m in London looking for a guy like your hubby! Xoxo," the Millionaire Matchmaker host wrote.
Tarek, 38, however, showed no social media love for his ex-wife over her new bundle of joy. The Flip or Flop stars divorced in 2017 after nine years of marriage together. They share two children: son Brayden and daughter Taylor.

The father-of-two chose to promote his podcast with Million Dollar Listing: New York star Ryan Serhant and upcoming HGTV special with girlfriend Heather Rae Young on social media instead.
Tarek and Heather, 31, attended a screening of A Very Brady Renovation on Thursday, September 5. He boasted about their "groovy" good looks as part of the caption of his Instagram post.
The HGTV couple went public with their relationship in August 2019. Tarek revealed to E! News that Heather had a boyfriend when he first asked her on a date.
Tarek was much more successful the second go-around when he asked her out again at a later date. "I randomly ran into her with some friends and I asked her out and she said yes!” he said.
