Taylor Swift shocked fans on Instagram this morning when she announced in a video post that she is scheduled to open the American Music Awards on October 9. The country-turned-pop star has been on the road for her "Reputation Tour" in the U.S., which will conclude just three days before her AMA performance.
She continued to write that she would be performing her song, “I Did Something Bad.”
This will mark her first time performing at an awards show in almost 3 years.
Taylor is no stranger to the AMAs since she has a whopping 19 wins, which makes her the record holder of most wins for Artist of the Year.
This year the Reputation singer is again nominated for Artist of the Year, and also nominated for Tour of the Year, Favorite Female Artist – Pop/Rock, and Favorite Album – Pop/Rock.
