Things are getting serious for Taylor Swift and her new boyfriend Joe Alwyn! The “Wildest Dreams” singer, 27, has been dating the 26-year-old British actor for a few months now. Taylor’s been doing her best to keep the relationship out of the public eye, but one lucky friend finally got to meet her new beau! While the singer was rumored to be cutting off relationships with some of her closest gal pals, like Karlie Kloss and Kendall Jenner, she’s still as close as ever to one old friend, singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. According to an OK! insider, Ed, 26, is Taylor’s only friend who’s had the special privilege of meeting her new boyfriend!
“Ed flew out to Nashville a couple of weeks ago with his girlfriend Cherry Seaborn,” the insider told OK! exclusively. “They spent the weekend with Taylor and Ed, jamming together and hanging out at her place.”
“Everyone got along great, and Ed reported back that Taylor’s finally coming out of her shell after a tough few months,” said the source.
According to the insider, Taylor “has major trust issues when it comes to her friends,” alleging that some were even “caught red-handed leaking stories about her.”

“That’s what her reclusiveness has all been about,” the source claimed, remarking on Taylor’s unusual withdrawal from the spotlight in recent months.
“She wants to phase Joe into her world slowly and only has time for people she trusts 100 percent,” the insider explained. “Ed’s like a big brother to her, so it’s highly significant she called on him first.”
