Watch: Post-Surgery Taylor Swift Has Hilarious Meltdown While Under The Influence Of 'Hardcore Pills'

Taylor Swift was shocked to find out that her mother Andrea not only recorded, but also shared an embarrassing clip of her with Jimmy Fallon and his audience! During the “Cruel Summer” singer’s appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on October 3, a video was shown that featured Taylor, 29, recovering from Lasik surgery and becoming distraught over a banana.
Taylor recalled that after the procedure, she was on “some pretty hardcore pills” to help her recover. Jimmy, 45, then told Taylor, much to her surprise, “Your mom may or may not have videotaped you after surgery and she gave us the video!”
The hysterical clip opens with Taylor with protective goggles taped to her head, as she headed to the kitchen to pick out a banana to eat. She became extremely emotional when she realized the banana she picked from the bunch wasn’t the one she meant to grab. “This wasn’t the one I wanted!” the popstar whined to Andrea.
Her mother realized the “Bad Blood” singer was about to cry, and told her, “Stop, you can’t cry! That’s not supposed to be what you’re doing!” Taylor told her mom she attempted to grab another one between sniffles, and then expressed concern about the other banana. Andrea said she would eat that one that Taylor pointed out “doesn’t have a head."

After Andrea put her daughter’s mind at rest about the banana without a head and told her everything was going to be just fine, Taylor retreated to her bed and laid down to eat her preferred banana.
“Don’t fall asleep eating the banana!” her mother warned her. Taylor wasted no time and told her mom, “I’m not asleep, my mind is alive!” The Pennsylvania native was understandably mortified. “That’s on television!” she said incredulously. “She was kind enough to drive me there but cruel enough to film it and give it to you!”
Despite this embarrassing moment, 2019 has been an exciting year for Taylor. She released her seventh studio album Lover on August 23, and is Saturday Night Live’s musical guest for the October 5 episode.
