Taylor Swift is waving the rainbow flag! She made a surprise appearance on Friday, June 15, at the Stonewall Inn’s pride celebration. The event was hosted to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising.
Taylor, 29, performed at the iconic LGBTQ bar and sang her hit single, "Shake It Off."
The party's host, Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson, introduced the pop star.
Before the "Bad Blood" songstress took the stage, Jesse teased her entrance with a medley of hilarious T-Swift references. He asked the crowd, “What would 2019 Jessie say to 1989 Jessie?” The joke was a clear reference to her record "1989."

Jesse also quipped to the crowd, "I feel like this was a bad idea. There’s probably six drag queens in this building who could sing this better than me — or a really fantastic Taylor Swift impersonator, or even Taylor Swift. She’s not here don’t worry why would she be here — because she’s amazing!”
The exclusive event was co-hosted by Diva Jackie Dupree and featured performances by Sara Bareilles and more stars.
Taylor also released her second single, "You Need to Calm Down" from her new album, "Lover," on the same day.
