'Teen Mom OG' Star Amber Portwood's Boyfriend Andrew Glennon Files For Emergency Custody Of Their Son Following Her Domestic Violence Arrest

Teen Mom OG star Amber Portwood's boyfriend Andrew Glennon filed a request for emergency custody of their son James on Tuesday, July 9, following her arrest for domestic violence on July 5.

Andrew told 911 dispatchers that their 1-year-old son's life was "in danger" after Amber, 29, attacked him while he was holding the baby.
"Officers spoke to the male victim, who stated his live-in girlfriend and he were having a disagreement. During which time the female, later identified as Amber Portwood, assaulted him, while he was holding their 1-year-old child," a police spokesperson told RadarOnline.com.
Amber, 29, was arrested and charged with domestic violence after police responded to their Indiana home. The MTV star was released on bail on July 6. She has a scheduled court hearing on Wednesday, July 10.

Amber already has two felony counts of domestic battery stemming from a December 2010 incident with ex Gary Shirley, 32. Gary and Amber share daughter Leah, 10.
The future of the couple's relationship remains unclear in the wake of her arrest.
Amber recently broke down about her battle with mental health and anxiety in a sneak peek clip for the Monday, July 8 episode. She suffers from both bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder.
