'My Life Stops!' Amber Portwood Reveals Heartbreaking Details About Her Battle With Depression

Amber Portwood has always been an open book! The Teen Mom OG star revealed details about her battles with depression and her relationship with Matt Baier.

"My life stops when I'm depressed because there's no getting out of it. There's no shaking it off because it's a chemical imbalance. When I get depressed, my depression is laying in bed not moving not wanting to even take and shower," Amber said to Cosmopolitan magazine.

She continued, "Matt's had to pull me out of bed I don't know how many times and start the shower for me because I've been so down. And my anxiety ... I can't really go out in public a lot because of it. I don't like going to movie theaters, and it's just really hard. I'm also not taking anything that would affect my sobriety."

But Amber's depression isn't the only issue she deals with. Her fiancé, Matt, was caught in multiple lies including, how many children he has, if he tried to date Farrah Abraham and Jenelle Evans prior to her, and if he ever watched their show, Teen Mom.

She explained, "Honestly, he wasn't trying to date them. He sent them messages pretty much telling them they're beautiful and crazy stuff like that. There's the truth and then there's what people want to believe. "

Even though Matt denies ever being a fan of the show, Amber knows he's lying! "He always says that, but I know he was a fricking fan of the show. I swear to God, that man. He's just an older man who doesn't want to admit that he watched Teen Mom because all of his friends would be like, 'You're such a freaking wussy,''' she said.

The 26-year-old and Matt have faced multiple bumps in their relationship after her ex Gary Shirley brought it to her attention that her future husband lied about the amount of children he has! She said, "I feel like I've shown and proven who I am today compared to before, but it's really hard on him because nobody's giving him a chance to really say, "This is what really happened. Was I an asshole? Yes. Did I lie about things? Yes. But this is me today with Amber."
