Maci Bookout's Restraining Order Against Ryan Edwards Still In Place Despite Promise To Work Things Out

Teen Mom OG star Maci Bookout promised to make good with her baby daddy Ryan Edwards. However, there’s just one huge problem — the restraining order she filed against him months ago is still in place.

The clerk of court for Hamilton revealed to RadarOnline.com that the order protecting Maci, her husband Taylor, and her two kids Jayde, 3, and Maverick, 2, is good for another two years.

During the finale of Teen Mom OG, Ryan’s mom Jen attempted to play peacemaker between pair. “He wants to work things out where y’all can communicate and get along,” she said at the time. “He’s very sorry about a lot of stuff.”

After admitting that she still loved both Ryan and Jen, Maci then promised she would talk to her lawyer. “I will call my attorney and ask,” she said. “But the restraining order shouldn’t stop us from talking and meeting with each other and doing counseling and stuff.”

According to court documents obtained by Radar, the order was filed back in May of this year. As mandated, Ryan isn’t allowed within 100 feet of Maci, Taylor, or their children. He is also banned from communicating with them.

“Ryan has left voicemail messages to show up at my house and take my son,” Maci claimed. “He has made threats to show up and hurt me if I don’t answer my phone.”

The 30-year-old, who’s had a string of arrests, run-ins with the law, and a rehab stint this year alone, also allegedly threatened to “put a bullet in Taylor’s head.”
