'Show The Truth!' Tyler Baltierra Supports Decision To Air Adoption Ups & Downs On 'TMOG'

Since Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra's early days on 16 & Pregnant, the two have been completely open about their process with putting their first daughter up for adoption. However, throughout the years, they have received tons of backlash surrounding as they continue to navigate a relationship with Carly and her parents on Teen Mom OG.

"My goal is not to paint a picture of what adoption looks like. It's to show the truth, both good & bad. Adoptee's voices & stories matter," the reality star wrote when he replied to a fan thanking them for showing their story on television.

Within the last few episodes, Cate and Tyler have been receiving a lot of backlash over their relationship with Carly and her adopted parents.

Despite how the couple reacts on the television show, the pair have taken to Twitter to defend their reactions and what they have said about their situation.

After a fan slammed Tyler and Cate for not being the best example of an open adoption, Tyler wrote, "We are definitely NOT the best example, I agree."
