Teresa Giudice Breaks Silence On Husband Joe’s Deportation
Oct. 15 2018, Updated 5:21 p.m. ET
Teresa Giudice has finally broken her silence on her husband Joe’s impending deportation. Days after RadarOnline.com exclusively revealed Joe is being deported back to his native Italy, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star took to Instagram to address the devastating news.
On Sunday, Oct. 15, Teresa posted a black and white photo of the Statue of Liberty. However, instead of standing proud holding the torch above her head, this Lady Liberty had her face buried in her hands, seemingly crying and distraught. In the caption, the mom of four simply posted four praying hands emojis.
Then today, Teresa posted a photo with her oldest daughter Gia as the two toured Rutgers University in New Jersey. “Taking it one day at a time,” Teresa captioned the pic, adding, “with my beautiful Gia checking out @rutgersu.”
If Teresa is touring colleges with her daughter Gia, it implies there are no plans for the RHONJ star to move her four daughters — or perhaps even herself — to Italy when her husband Joe is deported there.

On Wednesday, Oct. 10, an immigration judge ruled that Joe must be deported back to Italy when his three-year prison sentence for conspiracy and bankruptcy fraud charges is up. Although he grew up in the United States, Joe was born in Sala Consilina, Italy, and never bothered to obtain U.S. citizenship.
“Teresa won’t be moving to Italy with Joe, period. In no uncertain terms would she even consider uprooting her life with the girls and moving,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “Of course, publicly Teresa is going to say she supports Joe, and hasn’t even thought about what to do.” The pal also claimed Teresa is already talking to lawyers about getting a divorce.
