The Celebs That Are Winning the Fall Color Wars
Sally Hershberger Celebrity Colorist Cassondra Kaeding is responsible for some of the best-tressed heads in Hollywood: Vanessa Hudgens, Lea Michelle, Josh Hutcherson, and Ciara have all been dyed by the master. She's also busy working on a little movie series you may have heard of—The Hunger Games. Luckily for us, Cassondra took time out of her crazy schedule to discuss which hues are hot for fall. Consider this your color guide to live by this season.
Christina Hedricks
The Best Red
One of my favorite reds for fall is a deep, redish-golden-copper. For example, Christina Hedricks' rich-red goes hand and hand with her porcelain skin, which really helps accentuate her eye color.
Helen Mirren
The Best Silver/Grey
Silver and grey hues arent going anywhere soon. The one I'm loving is actually not colored grey on purpose. Helen Mirren's natural grey hair looks sophisticated, classy and not old. I would be surprised if this starts a trend for woman to go au natural!
Kristen Wiig
The Best Brunette
Brunettes are really warming up this fall. Kristen Wiig's warm chestnut brown is not too warm and not too dark, but just right. It suits her skin tone and looks like it could be her own natural color, which is very important when working with with warmer tones.

Lily Aldrige
The Best Ombré
A great ombré color right now is Lily Aldrige's. Still maintaing a rich base, Lily's ombré highlights are a light golden-brown that frame the face, creating depth and dimension.
Nicole Richie
The Best Blonde
One blonde that I'm loving for fall is Nicole Richie's golden blonde. Still keeping a rich base for dimension, Nicole has richened her summer blonde to this beautiful, buttery-gold honey-blonde that can easily be lightened when spring comes around again.
Rooney Mara and Dita Von Teese
The Best Black
As we all know, black isn't for everyone. There are two celebs that really can rock the black hair color and one is Dita Von Teese and the other Rooney Mara. Jet-black hair against pale skin looks very sleek, edgy, and sexy.
