Hi Curvinistas! As a stylist, I am fully engaged with fashion feva! New York Fashion Week was amazing. The collections were full of great trends and lots of curve-worthy designs for spring!

My Style motto during NYFW is to be “elegant yet daring,” inspired by late fashion innovator and Harper’s Bazaar editor Carmel Snow. My wardrobe isn’t pre-planned. I shop a bit, style looks in my head, then have a “nothing to wear” freak-out the day before. Eventually, I pull it together and manage to translate attire that is modern and edgy with a little urban glamour.

Here’s a small round-up of some of my favorite looks I donned while on-the-go to shows, presentations, and events during NYFW! Feel free to find a little style inspiration in my candids! Send me pics of your fashionable outings and hashtag WHAT I WORE!—#WIW #TheCurveReport

See you next Friday my Curvinistas! Or in a fitting room near YOU!

Curvy Note: While NYFW had its highs and lows, the weather also put us fashionistas to the test! But through it all, I was able to keep a great face with a few of my fave Dior Beauty products. I am obsessed with the nude foundations. After wearing make-up for over 10 days, my skin can sometimes be temperamental. With the help of Burt’s Bees Acne Facial Scrub, I am camera ready and picture-perfect!

Day One

My fashion week wardrobe goes from day-to-night. Sometimes, I change at least two times a day. Here, I went from Cushnie et Ochs and Nonoo show to the 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target Stylescape Event.

I love patterns and prints. A classic shift dress with the right dimensions to cut and align with your body to create a slimming silhouette is always perfect day or night!

Day Two

It was a huge fashion day of Prabal Gurung, Hervé Léger, Mara Hoffman, and Alejandro Ingelmo and Louis Amstrup.

Leather was spotted all over NYC from the streets to Lincoln Center. Here is an easy and wearable way to add leather to your wardrobe. I added a camo trend and kept a tan shade streamlined all the way down to elongate my shape and my legs. All three are guaranteed to be fashionably chic and in style for fall!

Day Two - Outfit Change

“After the show is the after party!” I had a blast at the DJ booth at the Prabal Gurung after-party before Ciara hit the stage. The geo-graphic trend of black and white continues and is key for next season. Designers like Ralph Lauren and Oscar de la Renta showed lots of it on the runway! I simply love it, and it’s total chic.

Beauty Note: My smokey eye and pink nude lip moment are courtesy of Maybelline.

Day Three

My day was filled with the DKNY 25th Anniversary show, Tracy Reese, Custo Barcelona, and DVF shows. I have always been a huge fan of pretty heels, power prints, and a stand-out shade of lipstick like MAC's "Diva."

Day Five

The true meaning of “fashion flexible”? Once I saw the sand-inspired runway at Tommy Hilfiger, I opted to change out of my Givenchy booties to these cute Wet Seal Moto boots.

Day Six

A day of glamour and cool young designers like Naeem Khan, Dennis Basso, Catherine Malandrino, Laquan Smith, and ICB. I stopped for a quick sugar rush, before heading to Elie Tahari’s 40th anniversary presentation and celebration. Mr.Tahari makes amazing dresses that are Curve-Approved! Plus, the presentation also featured his Spring '14 menswear collection—hottie alert!

Day Seven

J. Mendel, Michael Kors, Joie, BIBHU MOHAPATRA, Osklen, and the new designers at the CFDA Incubator. I love meeting all the new emerging designers featured in the The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Incubator Program. I’m obsessed with designer Daniel Vosovic’s fall and spring collections. Toward the end of fashion week, a heat wave came over. Luckily, I hadn’t put my summer flirty looks away. Of course the mini and tulip skirts are still trending, but a longer length is making headways on the runways. I'm channeling the trend along with my brights!
