Adrienne Bailon Reveals Husband Israel Houghton Said He Would Never Get Married Again After Divorcing First Wife

Adrienne Bailon always gushes about her husband, Israel Houghton, on The Real. In a twist from her usual loved-up confessions, she revealed on February 15 that he never wanted to get married again after his first wife!
During the segment Girl Chat, Adrienne, 35, told her co-hosts, “Sometimes you can be traumatized by bad experiences.”
She continued, “I really think there’s some trauma that comes with the end of a marriage.”
As OK! readers know, Adrienne and Israel were friends long before they began dating. The Real co-host admitted during that time as friends, her husband repeatedly used to say he would never get married again. She then paused and said, “And here we are married and happy.”

Adrienne gave advice, directed towards her co-host Jeannie Mai who had a very public split from her husband in 2018. She told her, “I really think you can say never, but at the same time you also have to heal.”
Israel was married to Meleasa Houghton from 1994 to 2016. During that time, they welcomed three children together.
