Jeannie Mai will not be attending the NAACP Image Awards dinner on Friday, March 29, despite the fact that her fellow stars of The Real will be hosting the event. The Real's Instagram account announced the news and fans are furious that Jeannie will not be partying it up with her cohosts.
The Real shared a photo of hosts Loni Love, Adrienne Houghton and Tamera Mowry along with details for the NAACP Image Awards dinner.
The show captioned the pic, "WE CAN’T WAIT FOR FRIDAY! We are so honored, not only for #TheRealS5 to be nominated, but to be hosting the awards dinner for the 50th @NAACPImageAwards!!! ?"
"@TheJeannieMai, we will miss you SO MUCH but you will be with us in spirit! Thanks again to our #RealFam at home who voted for us! Be sure to follow along in our IG story for all the fun on Friday night! ?," the post added.

Fans were upset that Jeannie would not be attending and took to the comments to express their disappointment. One asked, "Uhhhhhhhhh what happened to Jeannie?" Another wrote, "Jeannie not into NAACP?"
The 50th NAACP Image Awards will be held on Saturday, March 30, and will be hosted by Anthony Anderson. The dinner will be streaming live on Facebook at 7 p.m.
