Loni Love is proof that you should never give up on your dreams just because someone in your life tells you to. The Real co-host shared a personal story about how her ex-boyfriend told her to not quit her engineering job because he thought she would NEVER make it on TV. Boy, did she prove him wrong.
Loni shared a video of Nicki Minaj in which the "Chun Li" rapper talked about how an ex told her to stop trying to rap and that she was living in a "fantasy world."
The 47-year-old could definitely relate to what Nicki was talking about.
"I relate to @nickiminaj. I had a boyfriend who told me to not quit my engineering job because I would never be a on TV." she wrote on Instagram. Loni finished the post with an inspiring hashtag: #followyourdreams.

She clearly proved him wrong. Loni started a successful comedy career in 2004 that led to several guest appearances on Chelsea Lately and The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
She then become one of the five cohosts on the daytime talk show The Real (alongside Tamar Braxton, Tamera Mowry, Jeannie Mai and Adrienne Houghton) in 2013. The cast (minus Tamar) won their first Daytime Emmy award for Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host this past year. So who's laughing now?
