Tamera Mowry Shares Some Major Career News On ‘The Real’

Tamera Mowry-Housley has been on the slow mend since the tragic death of her niece Alaina Housley. Since her return to The Real on November 26, she’s shared a lot about what this past month has been like for her. In her latest confession, she revealed she’s ready to take on a new career.
Tamera told her fans on The Real, “I have just decided that I’m going to join my worship team at my church.”
Her co-host Jeannie Mai exclaimed, “I love your singing!”
Tamera continued, “Worship singing – My cousin was a worship leader; my mom was a worship leader. It actually runs in my family so I’m going to do that!”

In addition to her new commitment to worship, she added, “I would love to do that for my church and then move on to do a Christian album.”
The former actress has always been candid about her strong religious faith. When her niece went missing during the Thousand Oaks shooting, she asked fans to help pray for her and continued to ask for their prayers as she dealt with the loss of Alaina.
