The Wanted Singer Max George Denies Meghan Markle Was Sending Him Flirty Texts Before She Got With Prince Harry
The Wanted member Max George is finally discussing the rumors that Meghan Markle sent him flirty direct messages on Twitter years before she met now-husband Prince Harry. The singer appeared on the British talk show This Morning on Tuesday, June 4, and addressed the speculation.
Max, 30, refuted claims he ever texted Meghan, 37, in 2015 before she dated Harry, 34.
The show's host Phillip Schofield asked the "Chasing The Sun" singer, "You've been texting Meghan?"
"I don't know where that came from. I did read something over the weekend but I also read that she was looking for an Englishman," Max replied. "I don't know why they're doing this to her at the moment."
The Glee star added, "There was nothing from my side."

"Was there from her side?" Phil asked. Max said that there was nothing from Meghan's side.
Recently The Sun reported that "Meghan was reaching out to a number of celebrities in the UK as she spent more time there."
A source told the publication, "Max was one of the biggest stars in pop music at the time and they connected on Twitter. They swapped a few messages and had a lovely conversation but in the end nothing came out of it — she met her husband soon after."
The Duchess of Sussex met her Prince Charming in 2016 and married at Windsor Castle in May 2018. They welcomed their first child last month.
