Southern Charm stars Thomas Ravenel and Kathryn Dennis have had an aggressively up-and-down relationship from the get-go. And in a new trailer for the upcoming season, it’s clear the pair’s interactions are only getting worse.

Although together only briefly—on-and-off—Thomas and Kathryn share two children, daughter Kensie, 2, and son St. Julien, 1. And it looks like the toddlers will be the center of attention in season four, as reported by RadarOnline.com.

During a party shown in the trailer for the Charleston, SC, based reality show, Thomas reveals to Kathryn’s friends that the young mom has refused to take a drug test.

“Why won’t she go take a drug test?” he asks. “She won’t go cause she knows she’ll fail,” he says of his Southern socialite ex.

And in another moment, Kathryn cries as her daughter is taken away from her. Meanwhile, Thomas continues his womanizing ways, trying to woo co-star Landon Clements.
