T.I. and his family are mourning the loss of his older sister, Precious Harris. The rapper and his niece Kamaya confirmed the devastating news on Instagram.

Kamaya, Precious’ daughter, used Instagram to pen an emotional tribute to her mother. “From my best friend on earth to my beautiful angel in heaven,” she wrote.

“I’m so heartbroken,” she continued, “But the way you looked so at peace this past week has confirmed that you are resting...no more asthma attacks...damn but baby I am going to miss you.”

Earlier this week, T.I.’s wife Tiny asked her followers to pray for Precious’ full recovery. She wrote in a caption, “Please pray for my sister & family. She’s a true fighter...always has been.”

According to a source close to the Harris family, Precious hit a pole while driving her car, triggering an asthma attack. She was later rushed to a hospital.

Precious frequently appeared on the family’s reality series T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle. Production was halted in the wake of her accident and subsequent hospitalization.
