Tia Mowry-Hardrict squashed the rumors that a Sister Sister reboot was in the works. She explained that the series was "kind of dead" but "never say never."
Tia, 40, dished to People that she's been asked "a thousand times" if a Sister Sister revival is going to happen.
"Sometimes I'm just like 'let's just do it. Oh my gosh!' I'm asked that all the time," the actress said.
"I hate to say it but now it's kind of dead...Nothing's going on right now. But that does not mean it's not going to happen at all. Never say never," Tia continued.
The mother of two revealed exclusively to OKMagazine.com back in January 2019 the truth about the revival. She confessed, "I don't think it's going to happen anytime soon...It's out of our control. But my sister and I have tried everything."
Tia starred in the beloved family ABC sitcom with her twin sister Tamera Mowry from 1994 until 1999.
The Instant Mom star said, "I really believe my sister and I will be doing a project together. We just don't know what it is right now or when it will be."
Aside from Sister Sister, Tia and Tamera also starred in the Disney Channel original movies, Twitches and Twitches Too. Tia also spoke about doing a remake of the supernatural flicks.
She told People, "We were even thinking of doing a remake of Twitches... like Twitches 3. Possibly having kids..maybe we have twins who become witches. Something like that," she said.
