Tim Tebow has a new girlfriend! The New York Mets minor league outfielder confirmed he is dating 2017’s Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters.
During an interview with ESPN’s Pedro Gomez, Tim revealed his romance. “She is a really special girl and I am very lucky and blessed for her coming into my life.”
He added, “I am usually very private with these things but I am very thankful."
Demi-Leigh is native of South Africa who speaks both English and Afrikaans. She also has a bachelor’s degree in business management from North-West University in South Africa.

When competing for Miss Universe, Demi-Leigh said she wanted to teach self-defense workshops to women. While Miss South Africa, Demi-Leigh was carjacked but she was able to punch one of her attackers in the throat and escape.
This is the second Miss Universe Tim has dated. He previously dated Olivia Culpo but the two split in 2015.
