As Tom Hiddleston makes the rounds promoting his new film Kong: Skull Island, the British actor has found himself bombarded with questions about his whirlwind three-month relationship with blonde pop star Taylor Swift, and he’s losing his patience. During two interviews, one with The Telegraph and another with Today, Tom quickly shut down questions about the “Shake It Off” singer.
While speaking with John Hiscock of The Telegraph, Tom reportedly got “testy” with the British reporter, who asked if Tom regretted “the publicity and gossip the romance engendered.”
“What should I regret, in your mind?” Tom snapped back. “I would rather not talk about this if that’s all right.”
As a follow up, Tom added, “I'm just thinking about this. Everyone is entitled to a private life…My work is in the public sphere and I have a private life. And those two things are separate."

Then during an appearance on Today, Savannah Guthrie told Tom she found his GQ interview, in which Tom called Taylor “an amazing woman," to be “really thoughtful” and wondered “what it was like to go through with the relationship…in the public eye.”
After a few moments of silence, Tom explained that as an actor, he “absolutely dedicates” himself to his work, but as for Taylor, he said, “My private life is private.” Sorry, Savannah!
Yet if Tom truly believed in keeping his private life private, why did he tell GQ magazine so much about his ex? In the bombshell interview, Tom described Taylor as “generous and kind and lovely,” even adding, “You have to fight for love.”
Do you think Tom brought the heightened interest in his relationship with Taylor on himself? Do you think he regrets the GQ interview now? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
