Celebrity Trainer Tracy Anderson’s Ex-Husband Eric Dead At Age 48

Celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson’s ex-husband Eric has died at age 48. Read on for more details about the former New York Knicks player’s sudden death.
Tracy and Eric wed in 1998 and split in 2008. The two share one son together, Sam. Eric was reportedly going through health issues prior to his passing.
The celebrity trainer’s rep told Page Six, “We are deeply saddened by the sudden loss of Eric Anderson. Eric was a true friend to Tracy, a loving and incredibly dedicated father to their son Sam, and always willing to lend a helping hand to many of us at Tracy Anderson throughout the years.”
Hamilton County Coroner John Chalfin told The Indianapolis Star Eric’s death was “cardiac-related, but natural causes until doc can confirm that in a report to me.” Eric passed away on Sunday, December 9.

Carmel Lt. Joe Bickel told The Indy Star, “His sister hadn’t heard from him in a couple days, which she thought was odd because he was fighting some type of illness.” She then alerted the local police department in Indiana. They found Eric deceased in his apartment.
Eric leaves behind a legacy as a top-ranking former Indiana University basketball star. During his time at the university, he earned several awards and was recognized for his numerous accomplishments.
He also played for the New York Knicks after he attended college. Eric played for the team during the 1992-1993 season.
