Tristan Thompson Is 'Finally Realizing' How Much His Cheating 'Hurt' Khloe

Tristan Thompson cheating on Khloe Kardashian multiple times made headlines around the world, and got millions of people talking regarding if she should stay with him or not. Months after word got out, the NBA star is "finally realizing" how much all of that affected her, according to a source, and how he's trying to be "the best person he can be" for Khloe and their 3-month-old daughter True.

Tristan cheated on Khloe multiple times right before she gave birth to True back in April. Since then, she's had to deal with a ton of scrutiny from her fans and the public, as well as her own family speaking out about what he did and their thoughts on the whole ordeal.

Now a source has revealed to PEOPLE that he's come to terms with how much this negatively affected their relationship and what he's doing to mend fences in the process.

“Tristan is still in L.A. and has really stepped up,” the source told PEOPLE. “He keeps showing a lot of commitment to Khloé. He wants them to be a happy family." The insider also claimed that the couple is still doing therapy.

It would make sense that Tristan is really doing his best, given that he was spotted shopping for True late last month and showered Khloe with some Good American-related gifts over the weekend. So will his efforts in their relationship pay off for them both as their journey together continues?
