Khloe Kardashian doesn't expect much from Tristan Thompson at this stage of their relationship, so even when he attempts to do something nice it doesn't go over well. The basketball star realized he messed up by not wishing Khloe a happy Mother's Day on social media, so he sent a last minute gift. Scroll through for more details!
Khloe, 34, opted to spend the holiday in Calabasas with daughter True, 13 months, and her mother and sisters. "Khloe is celebrating Mother’s Day with True and her family today, she will not being seeing Tristan," a source told Hollywood Life on Sunday, May 12.
Tristan, 28, didn't even bother to wish his ex Happy Mother's Day on social media, but once he realized his mistake he sent a bouquet of flowers and a card.
The source continued, "He did reach out to her, he actually sent her flowers yesterday with a Mother’s Day card, and although Khloe appreciated the gesture it did not in any way make her want see him. Not at all, it's way too little, too late. Instead she is spending this special day with her beautiful daughter, her mom, her grandma and all the rest of her family, the people she can really count on."
The NBA star wouldn't have been welcome even if he had wanted to attend the celebration. "The family is still not happy with Tristan and they have no desire to spend Mother’s Day with him," a source dished to People.
Khloe has been single since her split from the athlete and has been taking time to heal after their messy breakup. Her focus has been on parenting and her business projects rather than romance.
