The Tys That Bind

I just want to say this: If you’ve gotta have lunch with someone, it might as well be . He’s a good time. So... the other day, one of my colleagues was supposed to interview Ty — that is, until a traffic snarl left my co-worker stuck in Queens and me having to jet over to the Lever House to meet Ty for lunch! With only about 30 seconds to prepare, my boss scribbled out a handful of questions as I flew out the door. The subways weren’t working (of course!), so the streets were teeming with people in the sub-tropical weather. I finally get to the interview, and his publicist warns, “no questions about the DUI.” Oh yeah, that’s right! Thing is, I had completely forgotten about the DUI! That’s okay, no one wants to know about it anyway... right? While the DUI was not discussed, Ty, who I have to say is a ton of fun, had no problem talking about another set of initials — ADHD. My "Quick Chat" with the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition host is on newsstands now. I am so lucky — his publicist is really happy with the piece, and I get to see him again next month! In other news, I got a gold record–style invitation to Fashion Rocks during Fashion Week. I love Fashion Week — and I love that it happens twice a year! , , , , , , , , and will be performing. Aww, yeah...
