Vanessa Hudgens is one supportive girlfriend! While attending the premiere of her film Dog Days, the actress took the attention off herself and couldn’t help but gush over her date, her boyfriend of six years, Austin Butler.
"I am so stoked for him right now,” Vanessa told Entertainment Tonight, revealing that Austin “just did Broadway for the first time” and “just did a film with Jim Jarmusch."
Austin is costarring with Jim in the upcoming film The Dead Don’t Die, which also costars Selena Gomez and Adam Driver. "I'm like, I can't! I'm so proud!" Vanessa said.
Vanessa isn’t worried about her and Austin battling for the spotlight. "We'll always have each other's backs so it's nice," the actress revealed.

But Austin isn’t the only love of Vanessa’s life. She’s equally smitten with her rescue pup, Darla! “My dog and I have a really special relationship. When I first met her, she wouldn't even let me touch her. She was a rescue and she was abused,” Vanessa revealed.
“She was terrified of everything and everyone, and through loving her, she's opened up and showed me her personality and has gotten so comfortable and is now this little cuddle muffin. I can't imagine my life without her,” Vanessa said.
