'Real Housewives of Orange County' Star Vicki Gunvalson Breaks Her Silence After Being Demoted To 'Friend' On The Bravo Series

Vicki Gunvalson broke her silence on Tuesday, July 2, after it was revealed that she's been demoted to a "friend of the cast" for season 14 of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
"For the past 14 years I’ve opened up my life, my loves, my ups and downs on The Real Housewives of Orange County and I am proud to be the ‘OG of the OC,’" she wrote in her Instagram post.
She continued, "I am back again this season right in the middle of the action, and I hope you have as much fun watching the show as I did living it in front of the cameras. Stay tuned to Bravo August 6th."
Rumors had been swirling for months that Vicki, 57, was going to be demoted before the news officially broke on Tuesday.

Vicki got her orange taken away and will not be featured in the opening credits, but she still makes numerous appearances in the trailer for the upcoming season. Her ongoing feud with Kelly Dodd will play out on camera.
Tamra Judge, Shannon Storms Beador, Kelly Dodd, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Emily Simpson will all be returning as full-time cast members.
The ladies will joined by newcomer Braunwyn Windham-Burke, who was brought into the group by Kelly.
